Cardium’s Hannah Clarke Conquers London Marathon

Cardium Law’s Hannah Clarke completed the 2025 London Marathon, raising more than £2,700 in memory of her late father.

Battling unseasonably hot conditions, Hannah crossed the finish line in 5 hours 17 minutes and 47 seconds, a little slower than she hoped but more than compensated for by a fantastic experience.

Afterwards, Hannah said: “I really did struggle with the heat, but I was thrilled to finish, and it was a great day.”

“It was a great day!”

Hannah has been raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, which promotes stem cell treatments and research. Her late father received stem cell treatment during his illness, and that helped to inspire her to take on and conquer the gruelling 26.2-mile course.

Thanks to incredible support from friends, family, and colleagues, she has already raised a remarkable £2,775, smashing her £2,000 fundraising target, and there is still time to donate.

The 2025 London Marathon was one for the history books. With 56,640 finishers, it set a new world record for the number of participants to complete a marathon, surpassing New York’s previous record.

Since 1981, the London Marathon has raised £1.3 billion for charity, making it the world’s largest one-day fundraising event.

Hannah’s marathon achievement follows her fundraising efforts last year when she completed her first half marathon – the Hyde Park Half – raising £800 for Cancer Research UK.

Each year, Cardium Law supports a chosen charity through a series of fundraising events and initiatives. This year’s support for the Anthony Nolan Trust reflects a personal and meaningful connection for Hannah, and we are proud to stand behind her.
