Our charity for 2026

Cardium’s charity for 2026 is the Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund

We’re delighted to announce that our charity for this year is The Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund (AIPFF), which exists to increase opportunities for kids and young people in inner-city and disadvantaged areas to play sport and enjoy its many benefits.

Previous Appeals

It follows our previous appeals, which raised thousands for the Anthony Nolan Trust for stem cell research and Crisis to support those experiencing homelessness.

Memorable

Over the years, we’ve hosted memorable fundraisers, from a glamorous quiz night at London’s South Place Hotel to a festive Christmas party at Langan’s Brasserie and an evening of cool vibes aboard the Jazz Boat on the Thames.

We understand the importance of exercise and team games for people’s health and wellbeing – Julie Clark.

Now, looking ahead to 2026, Cardium is excited to support AIPFF and its Access Sport arm, which has specialist expertise in inclusive sport development.

Support

They train, equip and support community sports clubs, organisations and volunteers to provide inclusive programmes, unleashing their potential to transform the lives of underserved young people in their local communities. The Access Sport team helps ensure funds reach the projects that need them most, as well as providing additional advisory and development support to the clubs supported by the AIPFF.

Legacy

Built on the legacy of Angus Irvine, his family continue the remarkable fundraising that he began.

The Irvine family remain passionate advocates for the transformative impact of community clubs on the lives of the children and young people they support.

Thrillled

Cardium’s Julie Clark says, “We’re thrilled to be supporting AIPFF. Many of our team members are keen sportspeople, and we understand the importance of exercise and team games for people’s health and wellbeing. We strongly believe that this should be available to everyone.”
